Scince i last posted an entry to this blog there has occured a variety of 'ups' and 'downs' and 'ins' and 'outs'and 'whatever else':- 'ete''ete''ete''ete'-Lots and Lots of Little things and Big things and things of No real consequence at all!- at all!- at all! - at all!
At this stage well one might wonder:-
'Is It Nonsence?'- that i am writing ??
-'Or Is It Something Else' ????

In The Immediate Here And Now
- in my previous entry[wednesday 17th] to this blog - i wrote about punctures and hangovers!- well it took all day wednesday for the hangover to clear up -thursday morning the 18th:-i was in great form and i really enjoyed working repairing the punctures in the back wheel of the bycycle[so much so that later on in the day i was joking about:'Zen and the Art of mending punctures']- and Afterwards it was Wonderfull the Freedom and Restored Mobility that i was able to Achieve as i Travelled Enormous Distances all over Galway in a short period of Time !!!!- Yes the Bycycle is a Wonderfull Invention !!!!
That was Yesterday
and This is Today
and Guess What ????
- I Got Another Puncture
So no wonder i feel deflated today
as i feebley endeavor to dutifuly blog!
Maybe there is Truth in the theory of Bio-Rhythms ????
Certainly what i experianced over the past few days
could well be described as Undulating Waves of periods
of Highly Energetic 'Out and About' Activity followed
by periods of a Complete Absence of Energy periods of
a Complete Inability to Focus or Function Normally !
[- now i acknowledge that what i just wrote about the
'Down-Side' comes across as rather extreme!- It is very
difficult to talk about because I am Tired as I Write !]
As for the 'Up-Side' of the past few days ????
Well Lots of Good Things Happened:- Like
Again and Again I Met Really Nice People !!!!
and That Really Cheers Me Up !!!!
Thank God for All the Good People
that I Frequently Encounter in Life !!!!
and Thank God for the Gift of Music !!!!
and Thank God for All that is Good in Life !!!!

Examples of the Unexpected ....
often frequently life trows up surprises and the unexpected
-yesterday for example i dutifully turned up at my usual time
of arrival for the 'bloomsday' celebrations expecting a large
gathering of people at the 'nora baracle' house - to instead
discover that the celebrations were over !
afterwards i was so disappointed and felt so foolish
i rather stupidly drank too many beers last night
- yet to my surprise when i awoke this morning i felt great
and even more to my surprise after my customary morning
pot of tea[which usually rehydrates and rejuvenates me!]
-it instead to my unexpected surprise appears to have induced a
'wopping' monuemental debiletating 'under the weather' hangover
as i type sudden unexpected noises irritate me i also have moments
of unexpected pain and i feel sort of 'ughh!'and 'woozey-wobbely'
yeah this hangover sure took me by surprise as did events yesterday
also today for as well as the hangover that i am presently enduring
i also got a puncture this morning in the rear tyre of my bycycle
it is really unusual maybe even wierd the excessive amount of
punctures that have afflicted my normaly reliable'trusty steed'
[a.k.a. my scruffy battered bycycle -that time-efficiancy machine
upon which it is my custom to free as a joyfull bird on the wing
'whizz' about the streets[and sometimes even speedely mounting
the sidewalks and footpaths noblely endeavoring to evade the
heavey buildup of auto-traffic of this delightfull metropolis
of our's:'the city of the tribes'- usually refered too as galway!

Today is "Bloomsday" !!!!
On this date 16th June 1904
James Joyce either first met Nora Barnacle his Partner for Life
[or maybe it was his first sucessful date/going-out with Her?]
Well whatever the auspiscious occasion it was ????
He commemorated and celebrated this momentious event everafter
in his world famous internationally acclaimed novel 'Ulysses'!!!
Nora Barnacle was from Galway[She met James Joyce in Dublin]
Every 16th of June People celebrate "Bloomsday"
[-the date that the action in'Ulysses'occurrs]
In Galway People gather at the 'Nora Barnacle'house
for Readings and general all round Litery 'craic'[fun]!!!
-I hope to attend there today and maybe do a
public reading from 'Ulysses'?[-i have done so before!]
of course some say 'It is All'Poseurs'and Litery Pretentiousness'
In my Opinion:It is a Litery Celebration and a 'Bit of harmless Fun'!!!!
For well over a week[or more?]
I have been Absent
from this Blog and the Internet !!
The Music Course is Over
and consequently So Too is my regular
access to computers and the Internet !!
For the past week or more I have been
living very quietly out in Conamara !!!!
For the first few days it was a bit of
a cultural shock[and a 'come down'after all
the hectic activity of the previous weeks
especially the Volvo Ocean Race in Galway where
We played Our Final and Most Sucessfull Concert !!!!
Afterwards at an Election Count Center
I Foolishly spoke to an Irish Politition
[a Minister in the Irish Goverment]
Afterwards I got Very Depressed Brooding
about the Issue that I spoke about
and which I am Concerned about !!
It was very much on my mind for Days
after I returned to Conamara-and the
More I Brooded:-The More Depressed I Became !!
What Saved Me? - What Rescued Me was Music !!!!
- I took out my Musical Instruements and I started Playing Music !!!!
and the more I Played Music the Better I Felt !!!!
and the Better the Music Became !!!!
and All my Worries and Concerns Faded Away !!!!
and Guess What ???? - I Became Happier and Happier !!!!
In Fact the past few days
have been Very Creative !!!!
in that I am Composing Music Again !!!!
and It is Good Music Too !!!!
and the Weather is Good Too !!!!
Thank God for All that is Good !!!!

Ways of Communicating and Expressing ????
There is a theory that Language is a branch of Music
Words[when used effectively] aim for Accuracy
Many years ago when I lived in another country
a Person who was a Good Friend said:-
"It is Not the Words we Use that are important
- It is the *Way that we Say It* that is Important !!!!
In my Travels I often noticed
that the way people spoke
was often similar to Singing
as if each Language was a Song !!!!
As if Each Language is a Song and/or a Medium
Shared Exchanged Transmitted and Understood
within a Culture from Generation to Generation
Languages[and Music]change and evolve over Time.
Looking at and Listening to Irish Traditional Music
there is Evidance that the Music is Reflective of the
Times and the Society[Both being the Medium]in which it is Played
The Audiance/Listeners and Music-Makers/Muscitions engaged in and
Conspiring in a mutual shared symbiotic Activity/Understanding !!!!

It was a Good Concert !!!!
Yesterday We played a Very Good Concert !!!!

I mentioned that there are Plenty of Music Events
being held in Galway to celebrate the Volvo Ocean Race
and yesterday All of Us from the Music Course
Played a Very Sucessfull Open Air Concert in Galway !!!!
The Weather is Unusually Very Very
Warm Gorgeous Splendid and Sunny
and of course the Lovely Weather
is putting Everybody in Good Form !!!!
