Today I am visiting Galway

Yesterday[friday]went very well !!!!
It was Peacefull !!!!
-and of course the Weather
was Lovely !!!!
In Ireland(and the U.K.)

Yesterday We had an Uilleann Piper
in to Talk to Us about His Craft in Music Making
He brought in about 30 to 40 Varied Instruements
3 Sets of Uilleann Pipes
The Oldest was from the 1770's
the Next Oldest was from the 1840's
I looked on with Wonder,Awe
and Admiration as He Expertly Played
and Demonsrated to Us the Range of Sounds
the Uilleann Pipes are Capable Off !!!!
-as I watched Him Play the Pipes
I Wondered about the Previous Owners
These Pipes have been passed through
History from Generation to Generation
-Imagine the Circunstances,Occassions when these Pipes
were played in the Past?
-It makes me Wonder about
All the People who have Heard
these Historic Instruements !!!!

We were allowed to Try out His other
various assorted wind instruements
from All over the World
I was fascinated by an Intruement
from Norway that looks like
a Walking Stick:-It Produces
an Amazing Sound when Played !!!!
I also enjoyed and I Liked
the Sound that I was able to
Play on a Bamboo Whistle !!!!

The Weather was lovely Yesterday
which put Everybody
in Good Form !!!!
