An 'eejit' is a commonly used slang expression that we have here in Ireland for anybody who could be considered to be some kind/type of an Idiot !
- and why? One may well enquire
- do i ask such a "Profound" searching Question ?
Out of basic Good Nature
I offered/volunteered
to work on the Bog next week
and I wonder 'am i able for it'?
Last week again out of Good Nature I volunteered
to help out unload 400-500 Bales of Hay from a trailor
and I Enjoyed the Work and the Smell of the Hay
- yet the Bales of Hay were as Heavey as large back-packs
and the work involved trowing the Bales up 4 - 10 feet or so
- anyway I was Stiff and Sore for Days afterwards!
So when I volunteered to work on the Bog next week
I wonder what I am letting myself in for ????
- all I have been told is that there is a Lot of Turf/Peat
to be stacked and It might take 2 Days to Do it All !
At this Time of Year the Bog can be Very Pleasant !!!!
It can be Very Peacefull out on the Bog and the Weather is Warm !!!!
Anything else happen recently ????
There were Cattle roaming loose this Sunday
along a busy roadway out where I live in Conamara
and Nobody was doing anything about It
- so I descided I better bring them to wherever they belong?
There was 11 of them[6 Cows and 5 Calfs] a small Herd !
I must have looked a right Comical sight as I endeavored
to direct the Animals to their destination of Local Abode.
Again and Again People stoped to give Advise
and variuos Opinions as to Who owned the Cattle
Eventually a Local Farmer figered He recognised One of the Cows!
So after 3-4 kms walking with the 'Herd' and with his guidance
We sucessfully released the Cattle out into a safe peacefull Location!
